tough one Sam but you are having a great year and you should be very proud of how far you have advanced. give it all you’ve got in NY and have a good time! I look forward you watching you move up. I think it’s great that you are committed to both doubles and singles, doubles doesn’t get the respect it deserves.

Tough loss, Ace :(. I thought you had the match in the bag after winning the 1st set…hope it’s not fatigue setting in. Congrats for being the 15th seed for the US Open though. Once again, good luck in the US Open – I’ll be supporting you all the way, mate :)

Hard lines Sam. Hope you can use the next few days for full on training and prepare yourself for US Open. All the best for that. Keep on Slamming! you deserve your success.

To be honest thank god Sam lost, now she can have a good rest for the US open and hopefully beat her 2r showing many years ago.

    Damage against Vesnina!:(
But it is necessary to remain positive, you were impressive throughout this ” American season “.
I hope that no French player will play against you during the 1rd in US open because certainly we have a French to eliminate, even if it’s you whom I support in first.
The French journalists will again say ” Australian Samantha Stosur doesn’t succeed in the French players ” already Razzano and Cornet! ;)
Good luck in singles as in doubles with Rennae Stubbs by hoping at least for a title next week. :D

I was pleased to see you mentioned in the US Open NY webvideo of the women’s preview, it’s great to see you getting the publicity finally
you have all the talent and strength to go far, enjoy your ride to the top and know there are a lot of us out here who respect your style of tennis and the class you bring to the women’s game, go get em Sam!

Haha, if we remember Sam had some stupid loses before Roland Garros at Madrid against Chakvetadze after serving for the match and at Rome against Shvedova who is a joke of player compared to Sam, and later she reached semis at RG. I think that Sam is preparing something big for the open!
