Sam Stosur and partner Nadia Petrova have been defeated by Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik 6-4 2-6 [10-5] in the women’s doubles final at Indian Wells.

The unseeded duo was on top early before Stosur and Russian Partner Petrova struck back to take the second set 6-2 and force a match tie-break.

Seeded No.3, Stosur and Petrova worked hard but it wasn’t to be as the unseeded duo won the tie-break to claim the title.

What a shame really !!! You were so close, but Peschke and Srebotnik are a very good team.
As I said earlier, this collaboration with Nadia is quite effective and I'm confident in this new team. I'm sure you will achieve some great things together :)
See you in Miami Sammy !!! ;)
